Developing caring, inquiring, knowledgeable learners
With the International Baccalaureate framework at the core of the FIS curriculum, we develop inquiring, knowledgeable, caring young people who possess a love for learning and a desire to become responsible global citizens.
Combining academic rigor with personal development, an IB education is recognized and respected worldwide by higher education institutions. Through the facilitation of the IB framework at FIS, our students develop critical thinking skills, a sense of curiosity and an ability to solve complex problems. Ultimately, they are set up for future success as they move on from FIS and into the world.
OUR IB PROGRAMS
What we will always remember and appreciate about FIS is how much the teachers instill critical and creative thinking. We watched our daughter’s self-motivation skyrocket with researching topics that she loved to learn about and then saw her pride with each completed project. She blossomed from being shy to becoming confident about herself. We love the IB curriculum that focuses on students becoming citizens of the world and taking good care of everything in it.
