Before beginning your Enrollment Application Form, please familiarize yourself with the list of information you will need to complete the application. This checklist will appear again in the application process by email to complete the application.

Application checklist items:

• Medical Behavioral Form
• School History Form
• Passport(s) regardless of nationalities
• For non-Japanese nationals: visa details (including status and period of stay)
• Passport style photo (to be uploaded digitally)
• School records/reports from previous two years (if your child has previously attended school). Please attach an English translation if the record(s)/report(s) are not written in English
• Official transcripts (only High School)
• Writing sample (for Grade 2 through 12)
• MAP testing results (within the last 6 months)
• Recommendation Form
• Any relevant medical and behavioral records

Before your application is considered, you will need to pay our non-refundable Application Fee of ¥52,000 per application. The application fee includes assessment and observation fees and a 4% handling fee. Please see our Tuition & Fees page for more information.

Payment Instructions

The Application Fee can be paid with credit card only via Open Apply.

Although we do not require a pass/fail test for admissions, we use testing for grade placement purposes. Students who are Grade 3 and above will complete MAP testing (mathematics and reading). For younger students (below Grade 3), we will conduct an observation. We may also use WiDA testing if English is not your child's home language.

All of our prospective students and their families meet with our Leadership Team during the admissions process to ensure that our school and community is a good fit for your child.

Once all steps in the admissions process have been completed, our Admissions Team will review your child’s application in full.

Placement decisions are based on multiple factors, including school history, diversity, and our ability to meet each student’s learning needs, as outlined in our Admissions Policy.

Due to high demand, placement is not guaranteed. Qualified applicants may be placed in our Wait Pool, and offers are made based on best fit, not on a first-come, first-served basis.
