Learning that extends beyond the classroom

Our extensive after-school activities program inspires FIS students to explore new skills, discover individual interests and spark new friendships.

With a refreshed catalog of activities available each trimester, our after-school activities (ASA) program is extremely popular with our students. In our 2022/2023 school year, over 90% of our students participated in at least one of our after-school activities.

Run by FIS staff, some of the activities on offer have a competitive focus (games and tournaments) while other activities place more emphasis on individual improvement, enrichment, and cooperation.

The wide range of activities on offer each trimester gives students the opportunity to give new activities a go within a supportive and encouraging environment. With activities ranging from martial arts and t-ball, to yoga and a newspaper club; there's something available for everyone!
