On February 15, FIS will celebrate Japan Day as a whole school activity.
We are going to have Mochitsuki (Mochi pounding) in the morning. Then after lunch, all students and teachers will enjoy many activities such as Kamishibai (story telling), Karuta (traditional children's playing card), Origami and Syodo (calligraphy) etc.
We will gather in Gym in the end of event and enjoy dynamic performances by the Japanese Taiko (Drum) group. You are encouraged to put your favorite Japanese items on for this event.
We hope you will enjoy the event and look forward to seeing you at the event.
