Accreditation

FIS is accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education as a School Juridical Body, “Gakko Hojin”. It is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which is the official accrediting body for American Overseas schools in East Asia and the Pacific Area. In August 2007, FIS received official authorization from the International Baccalaureate Office and now offers the IB Diploma Program.
